Nissan Foundation Logo

We created this new logo for the Nissan Foundation based on client input and the organizations legacy and mission. The Foundation was created in direct response to the LA riots following the Rodney King trial verdict and the violence and rioting that ensued. The foundation gives around 25 grants each year to organizations that promote cultural tolerance and understanding. It was a priority that the logo represent their work in the community with respect to multiple cultures, diversity and immigration.

The “diversity” triangles in the design are representative people coming together. The spacing and arrangement of the triangles indicate stability and organization. The overlapping triangles indicate inclusion and tolerance and the graduated colors are indicative of the multi-cultural nature of the Foundation’s mission.
